Nigerian musician Davido, real name David Adedeji, and girlfriend have lost their son Ifeanyi Adekeke in a tragic swimming pool accident.
According to Davido’s girlfriend and mother of the children, Chioma Rowland, the young boy was left with the female domestic assistant while Davido is gone traveling in the United States and she was traveling to Ibadan. The tragedy occurred at their private family residence in Lagos.
“The boy was inside water for too long and they pulled him out and rushed him to the hospital,” the family source said under anonymity to await an official statement. “By the time they rushed him to Lagoon Hospital it was already too late.” Ifeanyi was reported dead at the hospital.
The toddler just celebrated his third birthday on the 20th of October.
