Yung Miami of the City Girls first announced ‘Caresha Please’ to first air on June 9th, 2022. Her first guest was Diddy who she had been linked to romantically. According to allhiphop.com (June 2022), Yung Miami announced her partnership with Diddy’s network. This was a few weeks after clashing with another woman over him. The rapper exchanged social media insults with a model named Gina Huynh, who posted a photo of Diddy kissing her. Diddy added, “REVOLT is about giving a platform to the most authentic and disruptive voices in Hip Hop that move the culture. Yung Miami is not only a superstar artist, but she’s also unapologetically herself and brings a perspective women around the world can relate to, which is why I’m excited to bring her podcast to life.” This has held up to be true as ‘Caresha Please’ has been awarded since being on air.

‘Caresha Please’ broke viewership records with its premiere episode featuring Diddy. Per Blavity (June 2022), “Revolt said Friday’s premiere episode generated more than 1 billion total impressions, 1.8 million views, 14 million impressions, 20,000 new subscribers, and 377,000 hours of watch time on YouTube. In addition to producing 477 million impressions on social media, the show generated a 100-time increase in Revolt daily app downloads on iOS and 10-time on Android,” the outlet writes. This podcast has just tied Drink Champs for the 2022 BET Hip-Hop Awards’ Best Platform Prize. But even with all of the buzz surrounding this fresh new podcast, Yung Miami may have recently hinted that it will soon end.

Will ‘Caresha Please” Survive The Naysayers?

“I might have to cancel #CareshaPlease,” Yung Miami tweeted on Sunday (November 4). “N*ggas scared of the smoke.” While audiences undeniably love the podcast, it sounds like our host may be having a hard time finding celebrity guests who are willing to come on and answer her burning questions. So far, the Florida-born rap diva has sat down with guests like Diddy, Megan the Stallion, Kevin Gates, Latto, and even the other half of City Girls, JT. Her podcast topics ranged from sexual fantasies to mental health, and music careers. Of course, hundreds of fans and avid listeners flocked to the comment section begging the City Girl to reconsider. It’s highly unlikely that her show will be going anywhere anytime soon.

‘Caresha Please’ airs on REVOLT and its app. It ia also available on major podcast platforms. Yung Miami and Diddy both serve as executive producers for the series.
